The Cañón del Sumidero National Park is located in Chiapas, Mexico and is home to the stunning Sumidero Canyon. The park is open daily from 8am to 5pm and admission is $45 pesos per person.
Visitors can take a boat tour through the canyon, which lasts approximately two hours and costs $300 pesos per person. The tour departs from the Embarcadero Chiapa de Corzo at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
In addition to the canyon, visitors can also hike through the park's trails and see various species of flora and fauna. The park also has a visitor center with exhibits on the local ecology and history.
Nearby attractions include the colonial town of Chiapa de Corzo, which is known for its traditional pottery and annual Fiesta Grande celebration. The town is just a few minutes' drive from the park and is worth a visit.
